Hello fellow researchers,
I'm working on the Carroll line as it relates to my LAMBERT lines. I have a couple of CARROLL males who married LAMBERT sisters. I assume they are brothers but have not proven that as I do not have parents for either male. My LAMBERT family involved moved from Monroe county Alabama to Arkansas and lived in several counties there, which are Calhoun, Ouachita, and Drew.
John Patterson CARROLL, b. 2 March 1860, I believe in Ouachita county, Arkansas, possibly Camden, married Susan Rebecca LAMBERT, daughter of James Calhoun LAMBERT and Juana Fernandez PERRY, on 15 Feb. 1887 in Ouachita county, Arkansas. They are the parents of seven children:
NANCY ZOLA CARROLL b. 25 Feb 1888
ESDELL "TRESSIE" CARROLL b. May 1889
GROVER CLEVELAND CARROLL b. 14 Nov. 1892, in Camden.
ZETTIE REBECCA CARROLL b. 26 Aug. 1895, in Little Rock, AR.
JAKE CARROLL b. 14 Aug. 1898 in Camden.
GREER CARROLL b. 7 Dec. 1901, this is a female.
JOHNNIE CARROLL b. 27 Sep. 1904, this is a female.
Susan's parents moved to Arkansas sometime between 1832 and 1857 as all her siblings are born there but her father was born in Monroe county, Alabama.
Susan's sister, Mary J. LAMBERT b. 1864 married Howard CARROLL in 1885. They also have 7 known children:
ANNIE CARROLL b. 1886
ARTIE CARROLL b. 1888, this is a female.
ADDIE CARROLL b. 1890
JENNIE CARROLL b. 1892
MARY EUNA CARROLL b. 5 Nov. 1894
CALVIN CARROLL b. 1896
JOSEPHINE CARROLL b. 1898
Does anyone have the parents of John and Howard?
It should be noted that my particular Lamberts are of SCOTTISH descent.
