I realize that your message was posted quite some time ago--however, I did want to add some further questions to your own questions!
Elizabeth DANIEL left a will in Prince George's County, Maryland, dated 1725-26 with probate in February 1726-27. She named the following heirs: John CARROLL, Mary CROXALL, Susanna NEAL, Ann NEALE, Richard CROXALL, Mrs. Joanna CROXALL, Mrs. Ann NEAL, and Arthur NEALE. The will did not provide the relationships of any of these names. (Ann Neal was the wife of Arthur Neale, and Susanna and Ann were their daughters, but I have no information as to how they were connected to Elizabeth Daniel, although I *suspect* that the older Ann was Elizabeth's daughter or granddaughter. Arthur Neale/O'Neale owned Pitchcroft in PGC.) Elizabeth named John CARROLL and Richard CROXALL as her executors. Leonard Piles was one of the witnesses. It appears possible, from the middle name of one of the sons of Richard and Joanna Croxall (known to be husband and wife), that Joanna's maiden name might have been Carroll, and you confirm this for me. Possibly Mary Croxall was their daughter.
Since you posted your message, do you have any further information on the relationships you were inquiring about, or would you have any information on any of the above names?
I'd be grateful for any help you could give me. Thanks!
