Carrolls from Thurles, Tipperary

I just began researching the Carroll side of my family and that I should send out this posting to see if anyone happened to have a connection. Basically, the little information I have is that my great great grandfather, John Carroll was married to a woman named Agnes Haggerty. John was from Thurles Tipperary and Agnes was fom England...(John had emmigrated to England for a while before coming to the US). In true Irish Catholic fashion thay had about 13 children! They later emmigrated to the US and ended up in Philadelphia (Via Boston possibly). My grandfather was Joseph Carroll and he passed away in 1979. Anyone have any thoughts out there??
