New Brunswick is a big province and lots of Carrolls went there. Saint John was a port of entry during the famine so probably some ended up there but I know a lot ended up in the Miramichi area and did come in the early 1800's. You will not find help unless you can narrow down your Carrolls to a particular county or maybe have an unusual first name.
