There is a family of Carrolls from County Cavan & County Meath. The father Thomas Carroll was born around 1798 and the mother Margaret McMahon Carroll thereabouts. Their daughter Mary Carroll was born in 1822 in County Cavan. Some of her brothers immigrated to Australia. Terence Carroll immigrated to Mississippi where he fought on the Confererate side and was killed. Another brother Patrick was said to have a Plantation in the Yazoo valley where he eventually died. If you are able to research these names I would appreciate hearing any information you gain. Thanks.
