I am looking for anyone who might have any information about my grandfather &/or his family. He tells many stories about growing up in Alplaus before they moved to White Creek, New York.
His name is Arthur Earl Carroll, and that was also his father's name. He was an only child and played with a Ben Dixon (unsure on spelling of last name, but I think this is right).
His mother's name was Addie (not sure if this is a nickname or not.) He was born July 24, 1914.
He is still alive & doing very well - unfortunately, I live too far away to get to talk to him often - hearing loss makes phone conversation very difficult.
He was at Pearl Harbor when it was bombed, but not on the Arizona. Any info would be appreciated!
