My ggg-grandfather was William Carroll. In two different published papers there was reference to his being cousin to Charles of Carrollton. I have not been able to trace him. He came to the US when he was about 20 yrs. old. He married Mary Lynn who came to the US when she was 10 years old. They settled in Fayette County, PA. They had 12 children. I have only found 1 - Daniel Lynn Carroll born in Fayette County, PA 1797. I have detailed information on Daniel's line. Contact me at myracp@surfree.com
Hope we can help each other
