Carrolls - Michigan to Iowa
Posted by: Phyllis (ID *****7609) Date: September 21, 2002 at 09:10:33

What I know of my line is that Bernard William Carroll was born in 1833 and died 30 May 1898 and was buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery west of Boone, IA., which is a Catholic Cemetery. He was married to Ellen Williams. Their only child I know of (and there were probably more) was born in Michigan about 1864 - this was William Charles Carroll who died in 1899 in Kelley, IA. He was married to Martha Soderstrom and their children were:
Fred P. Carroll 1890 - 1960
Mary Carroll 1891 - 1978
Ralph Carroll 1892 - 1951 - my Grandfather who lived and worked in the Ames (Story County) Iowa area.

Any help here would be appreciated very much.
Phyllis
