We may be looking for the same people. I'm researching Hester Carroll b ca 1823 m 1838 in Obion Co, TN(?) I think her father was Edmund E. Carroll. There was probably a brother named Meredith Carroll and sister named Eunity. My Hester named one of her children Susan J. and her oldest son Meredith Carroll. Hester Carroll m Robert Longley and migrated to Missouri about 1844, then to Texas in Jan 1851.
