I am descendant of Elizabeth CARROLL (b about 1732 in Ireland. She married Nathaniel HENDERON 1753 in Chester co., PA. She died in York co., SC.
I show that her parents were Joseph CARROLL, Sr. and Janet "Jane" SWANSEY. But my Janet SWANSEY was born about 1700 in Ireland. The children that you listed for Joseph and Janet were born in late 1700s (1772 til 1796).
Could Joseph CARROLL Sr be the son of John CARROLL who was born in Scotland?
Looks like I need a lot of help here.
Thank you for checking on these Carrolls and Swanseys.
