Martha Reid has a Samuel Carroll who was a revolutionary soldier. He was born before 1740 in Ireland and died in York Dist, SC after 1790. He had a Samuel, Jr. who may have been father to yours. My Elizabeth Carroll who married Nathaniel Henderson may have been Jr.'s sister, but I know very little else. I could send your e-mail address to her if you don't mind.
