Emil:

I am just beginning to do research on the Carroll family who lived in Roxbury. I believe Enos Carroll was a brother of my ancestor Rebecca Carroll, born in 1791 in probably Dutchess County, NY, married about 1807 to Parker Crosby (1780-1867) of Middletown.

According to the 1840 census the Crosbys lived very near to Enos Carle [sic] in Roxbury. The History of Delaware County states that Enos Carroll was born in Dutchess County, but I have no further information.

Do you have a list of those buried in the Carroll Cemetery, or can you tell me how to obtain such a list?

Thank you.

Joyce
