Looks like a different family of Carroll's. The only families I know of that went to Oklahoma were James Caswell Carroll and his brother George Marion Carroll. I have a photograph of G.M. Carroll taken at a studio in Ardmore, OK. I don't believe G.M. stayed there very long as he is on all of the census reports in Anderson Co., Tx. for 1880, 1900 and 1920. James Caswell went up there to farm and I found him on the census in 1900, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory. Now, I can't find him when I check the individual counties of the Indian Territory on the web. I'm just trying to find his son Cleveland Carroll. He was listed as alive in Oklahoma in the obiturary of his father in 1922. I suspect he remained in Oklahoma when Caswell returned to Palestine, Tx. I can account for all of the other brothers of Caswell. They remained in Anderson Co., Tx. and Thomas Co., Ga.
