Order his military records from the national or state archives for WW2. We just received my wifes grandfathers military pension records and they sent out about 75 pages including their marriage cirtificate.
My wifes relative was in the civil war and we received that much on him. It also listed his parents names and where in Germany they both were born. Larry G. Carroll
