My 3rd great grandfather was Edward Carroll, born in Ireland in the 1820's (around that time) he had a brother named Robert. His mother, I believe, died in childbirth . . . eventually Edward came to America, although I'm not sure what happened to Robert, so because they both were born around the same time . . ."
