Hello, Cathy

You should be able to find the obituary and funeral notice at the library. I don't know how up to date the microfilms are for those late years. But you should have good luck at City Hall. I believe the fee these days for certs is $10.00. I have a web site http://people.ne.mediaone.net/dflynn51

My research is under the section 'From Roscommon to Fall River". You'll see a chapter on Hanley - Carroll descendants. Under Thomas Carroll you'll see the information that I've told you about. Also, under the ancestors of James H. Flynn (my grandfather) there is much information on Bridget (Hanley) Carroll - mother of Thomas Carroll and Grandmother of the Joseph T. Carroll. Thanks for the offer but I don't need anything at this time. Good luck in your research. By the way, I grew up in Tiverton but went to school in Fall River - St. Jean Baptiste Grammar School, Msgr. Prevost High (now integrated in with Bishop Connolly) and SMU. Just a little local flavor.

Regards

Earle Flynn
