Hello, Cathy

These Carrolls were born in Manchester, Lancashire and emigrated at various times to Fall RIver between 1885 and 1905. These Carrolls were Owen, THomas, Francis, Winifred, Catherine, Mary and John. I have the naturalization papers for the males and passenger ship lists. Bridget Hanley Carroll (mother) emigrated from Lancashire in 1885. Bridget married a PAtrick Carroll n mAnchester in 1858. The Carrolls and Hanleys originally came from Co. Roscommon, Ireland. The Hanleys were from Kilglass Parish, Co. Roscommon (Hanley Country) and the Carrolls to the best of my research knowledge(not yet verified) were from Loughglynn, CO. Roscommon. Please let me know if the Joseph that your searching for is the same Joseph that I found in my records (son of Thomas Carroll and Sarah Cawley.

All the Flynns, & Carrolls & Cleggs and Kings lived in the SOuth End of Fall River around St. PAtrick's Church. They have all scatterred to the 4 winds now.

Earle Flynn
Norton, MA
