Hello, Cathy
I do have a Joseph Carroll in my research. He is the son of Thomas Carroll and Sarah (Cawley) Carroll. I have him listed in the 1920 US Census with his parents and siblings. The 1920 Census was taken on January 2, 1920. The Carrolls lived at 45 Laurel Street, Fall River. Joseph was listed as 14 years old at the the time which coincides with your birthdate. His siblings at the time of the 1920 census were Patrick - 17, John - 12.Joseph worked in the Lincoln MIlls and his trade was "Wire Boy".
His Father - Thomas Carroll was the son of Bridget Hanley and PAtrick Carroll (my g-g-grandparents). Thomas had the following brothers and sisters: Owen Carroll, Francis Carroll, John Carroll, Mary (Carroll) Flynn _ my great grandmother, Winifred (Carroll) Clegg, Catherine (Carroll) King.
Hope this info helps
