My Carroll ancestors lived in Wheeling, arriving there from Philadelphia somewhere between 1860-1864.
James Francis Carroll, b 1838 Philadelphia, d 1897 Wheeling WV.
m1- Anna Martin in Philadelphia 1860, 3 children: Martin b 1864 (my ancestor), Edith b 1868 and Paull b. 1869, all born in Wheeling
m2- Melissa Brownlee in 1880, 4 children: Hugh B 1882, MAry b 1883, Anna Maria b 1885 and Edith b 1886, all born in Wheeling.
