Valerie,
As far as I know my grandmother (maiden name Carroll) married into the McAdams family. After my first grandfather died (his last name was Brown) (I wasn't born yet), she remarried. The grandfather I knew was named Mack McAdams, I recognize the name Catherine McAdams but I don't know the relation to my grandma. I will be glad to find out from my grandmother. I do know that the Charles Carroll in our family was the one that signed the Declaration of Independence. He was the youngest, richest, and only Catholic to sign. My grandma told me this since I was a baby. (I'm 29 now) There's a town in Virgina named after the Carroll family. It's called Carrollton county I believe. We come from Irish decent. That's all I know right now but I will ask more info from my grandma.
