I just found a Bible belonging to Raford Carroll ($1.50) and in the cover was written the following information:
Elizabeth Jane Carroll, born 2-17-1831 married Lewis Samuel Andrews 4-13-1849
William Raford Carroll, born 1-25-1838 married Mary Ann Evans 12-10-1861 (she died 8-10-18740
Mary Susan Carroll born 7-12-1842 married William W. Evans 9-11-1867
John Dement Carroll Carroll, born 5-14-1835 married Katherine Smith 11-1869
Andrew Jackson Hickman Carroll, born 10-6-1844 married Nancy Smith 9-10-1867
James Monroe Jernigan Carroll, born 12-20-1832 (died 2-13-1929) married Martha Ann Elam (bor 8-11-1834) on 7-30-1850.
Baptisms were held in 1840 in a Methodist Church (presumed to be in Seminary/Fayette County, IL). The minister was a Reverend Meldson. Those baptized were:

James Monroe Jernigan Carroll
John Dement Carroll
William Raford Carroll

Josiah Carroll's daughter is Mary Viola Carroll, born 4-19-1871

Note: The name of Jernigan was added to James Monroe, and the name McAdams was added to Sarah Ann.
