this may or may not be helpful to you. I recently met with a 2nd cousin in CA, who told me my great great grandfather, a Will Carroll, had a brother named Demarcus Carroll who lived in Springfield. Most of my family came from Ringold, GA (Union County) in late 1880s and moved to Springfield MO. Supposedly, Demarcus Carroll had moved to Springfield my gg grandfather moved there to join him. I have no other details at this time, but am trying to get detailed information from my cousin. Would be interested to know if this is helpful or provides any connections. Richard.
