I have the following:
Edward Carroll b. Sept16, 1848 or 1850; d. April 10,1880 (smallpox);m. Bridget Nevell June 23/1873; three children; Edward; b. 1876/sept/7; John Thomas; b. 1874/aug/8; Mary Helen; b. 1878/dec./23.
Ed's parents: James Michael Carroll; b.abt. 1821; d. Jan 19,1888 (67 yr); Helen (Ellen)Cutter (Cotter,Coughter); b. abt. 1817; d. Oct. 30/1877 (60 yr).
Siblings: Mary; b.Feb7,1851; m. David Tremblay (USA) Sept 11/1888 - Thomas; b. July 19/1853, d. Mar. 14/1880 (smallpox) - Nameless; b Oct 24/1859 - Margaret; b.Oct 15/1860 - James Edward; b. Aug 25/1862 m. RoseAnn McGuire (in St Alphonse de Rodriguez) - Anne; b. June 25/1866, d. June 26/1866 (only child born in Chertsey) - John; b. Jan 28/1857, d. May 21/1858 (age; 16 mth).
James Michael Carroll; son of John Carroll and Mary Connor ( John b. abt 1767 Ire.) d. March 18/1843 (76 yr) in Rawdon. Two other sons of John; Roderick, m. Anne Breenan (Brennan); James; m. Anne Greenan (Green)on July 25/1836. No info on Mary Connor. I'm descending from James Edward and RoseAnn McGuire. Hope this isn't too complicated. Have more dates on Roderick's and James's children - all born in Rawdon. Suspect more info in St Alphonse registers. Will be checking into it.
