Thank you for the information. I will check with my local library to see if they do have the book "Landed Gentry of Ireland". Hopefully they have it if not maybe they can get one through intralibrary loan thingy. I have the Despard family traced from present back to Thomas Lewis Despard b.approx.1825 in Ireland.
