What a great surprise to hear from you, Thank You! The Carrolls of my genealogy are as follows:(1) James Carroll b.1825-1926 m. Mary Fitz Patrick and/or Honorah Delaney. This mystery is my mission for 2001. His children are:
James Carroll-12/10/1875-7/20/1970; born Grangemore, Borris-in Ossory,Married Mary Mc Nally, 5 children, Mary, John, Nora, James & Veronica. Died in Parsipany, New Jersey.
Jack (John) Carroll - b. 1878-1977 m. Elizabeth Champion, 1 child Mae who lives in Knockeroo, B-I-O with Husband Mike. Jack Carroll is reported to be a great football player of Irish sport history.
Mary Carroll b.1879,m. John Brearton, 4 children, Marie, Margaret, Sally & Robert.
Sarah Carroll 1880-1963 m. Timothy Ferns, 6 children; Kathy, Nora,Nan, Tom, Joseph & Willie.
Ann(Nan) 1882 m. James Fitzpatrick 2 children;Tim & James
Bridget Carroll-my grandmother- 1883-1974 m David Alexander. 6 children David,James, Mary, Rita (My Mom), Robert & Ann.
Nora Carroll 1885 & Martin Lynch, 2 children; Nora & Mary.
Well, I hope this makes us cousins in someway, shape or form. Most of my family Carrolls immigated to the U.S. in the late 1800's and lived in New York or New Jersey. Please let me know of any connections-Good luck, health and prosperity in the New Year!
