Waco, Tex. - Aug. 30 - A fire started in the basement of the Carroll Chapel and Library this morning, but was extinguished quickly, the loss being about $200, insured. The building cost over $200,000. It was a gift to Baylor University by F. L. Carroll, deceased, and but for timely work, would have been destroyed.
(I have no interest in this family)
