Eric,
You seem to be very knowledgeable about the Carroll's. Maybe you can offer some help. I have not been able to go back any further than my gggg grandfather. His name was Samuel and was married a couple of times, but a decendant of Amanda Black. They had three sons:(ggg grandfather) John Adams, b. March 1, 1850, William H., and Charles B.
Can you offer any help? I know nothing about Samuel except that he was born in VA, and that was from a census record, and he was 30 in 1850. But, in 1860 he was 35 years old, so who knows???!!! His father I believe is James T., but not for sure. He lived next door or down the street and was 60 in 1850. I haven't been able to tie them together.

HELP!!!

THANKS
SEAN(swanee@iquest.net)
