could your Charles C. Carroll be the brother to my Dorcus Emaline Carroll b. 4 may 1825 of Buncombe Co. NC ? She married an Isaac Barnard before 1849 and is listed with him in Cherokee co. NC in the 1850 census. Below them is Charles C. Carroll age 24 with wife Malinda and 1 year old Nancy Elizabeth. Emaline and family later moved to Blount Co. Ala. and her son James moved to MS.??? any lights going on??? Donna
