Hi Craig

My wife's great grandparents were James
Bolger and Catherine Carroll from Queens County which is now County Laois. Their son Joseph P. Bolger came to Boston, Mass. in 1876. They were from Aghaboe Parish and I have some of the birth records from there.
There was also a Thomas Bolger that married a Mary Carroll in Aghaboe Parish around 1853.
Do you know if your Bulger name was Bolger at one time. It does appear that in County Laois that the Bolger and Carroll Families
were very close.
