Since your name is Dudley, then you are truly a Sutton/Carroll, I am descended from John Jack Carroll, who was in the War of 1812 in defense of New Orleans, his father was John Carrol of Natchez Territory. His wife first wife was Susannah Martin Carroll and their
Daughter was Mary J. Carroll, who married John Sutton of Hickory Springs LA, my gggf.
