hello ken,

i've been following your conversations concerning carrolls and would like to compare information with you. seaborn and chasey ivey carroll were my gr-gr-gr grandparents. their son richard bryant had a son joseph samuel, his first son was simon foy, his son is simon dad. i've gone back to isle of wight, va. as well, showing john carroll dying in 1714. his wife was elizabeth vasser. i have a notation in a book called "virginia carrolls and their neighbors 1600-1800" saying they arrived in isle of wight in 1664. i have the name of the landowners and ship captain that brought them over but don't yet know the name of the ship or what its port of departure was. anyway i have some info. on land grants and wills and such for those other wms. and johns. maybe you have some stuff i can use or you know someone who does. hope to hear from you...
