Hi, Max!I too was told my ancestors were related to CC of C.I have recieved some info but none that connects that link.Just because Charles Carroll of Carrollton, MD was a strong Catholic does not mean his descendants could not have been Protestant.
I am Scot-Irish on both sides with a little English and German too.Do you have info on the Carrolls of Tenn.?I can only go back toto Benjamin Franklin Carroll born 1799 and Sally Smythe Carroll born 1820.(No other data known.) Reportedly he had a brother named William Carroll who lived in Ann-Arundel and knew CC of C. No blood relationship is known.I'd be glad to trade info. Thanks!
Warm Wishes,Carol
