I just had to respond to your message, I"m orginally from Jersey City, My Great-Grandmother was a Julia Costello married to an Anthony J.Flood, Julia Costello came from Ireland and born around 1841.I know mothing about who her brothers and sisters were, but my maiden name is Carroll. My father was an Edward Carroll and his Father was also an Edward, who had a twin brother John. I'm sure of the twin's name and their parents names were John and Margaret Carroll.
I am trying to locate relatives of John Carroll. He was a policeman back in the early 1910 thru 1940's I guess. This is probably no relationship to your family but I thought I would write you anyway.
Feel free to respond back to me. You never know?
