I am researching my husband's line of carrolls and have come to a place where i need some help. here's what i have:

Lawson Absolum Carroll (he also used L.A. Carroll and Absolum Carroll) born about 1868 in Murphy, N.C.
First Marriage to Martha Marinella Coleman (m. 8/25/1889 in CHerokee CO, N.C.)
Children: our grandfather - Frank Eustace Carroll b.5/8/1892, in Cherokee Co., N.C., m. Agnes Odea, d. 3/1985 in Detroit, MI
Janie Mae b. 8/9/1894 in Murphy, N.C.; m. Robert Thadeus Stiles; d. 12/12/1971
Gilbert Henry b.3/2/1897 in CHerokee CO
Andrew Jackson b.4/10/1899 in Cherokee CO
Bessie Ann b. 4/4/1903 in Cherokee CO
Ruth Melissa b.11/24/1908 in Cherokee Co

Second Marriage to Laura Killian
Children: Lawson Henry b. 10/13/1924 in Cherokee CO
Billy Robert b.7/20/1926 in Cherokee CO
Harley b. 6/15/1930 in Cherokee Co.

Frank Eustace went to Detroit, MI, after WWI and had three children: Frank JR., Edward and Dorothy - all of whom are now dead - Edward being my husband's father.

My question is who were Lawson Absolum's parents.
