This I have. Urenus ( or Uranus or Uraimus) Carrothers Carroll b. Mar. 5, 1859, died Aug. 8, 1953. Married to Etta Redd, b. Apr. 15, 1871, possibly Charleston or Aiken, SC. died RockHill, SC., Mar. 19, 1933. Both buried Laurelwood cemetery in RockHill.
U. C.'s parents may have been Charles and Nancy Carroll. Etta's parents possibly J.C. and Angeline Redd.
Their children were.
James H. Carroll, b. Aug. 5, 1890 , d. Jul. 30, 1950 m. to first a Viola from New York, two children, James and Doris.
Married 2nd to Gladys Kight of SC.
William W. Carrol. b. 1893? mar. to a Betty or Elizabeth, children, Billy and or possibley Gloria and Jean. Lived in Pa. during the 1920's was in the army.
Gertrude b. Apr. 19, 1895, d. 1934 in Phila. Pa.
U. C. Carroll Junior, b. 1898? died possibly in Charleston, after 1950.
Need any information possible. I don't have definite marriage dates on U. C. and Etta. Need confirmation on parents.
U.C. Senior shows on 1860 SC census with brothers, Samuel B. ,John E and Joseph H. Also in the 1890 census living in the household of Sam B. Carral as a daughter-in-law age 19 with her son Roy Baker 2yrs is Veney Baker or Vinnie Baker. There is an entry in the Laurelwood cemetery in RockHill, Sc of a Mrs. Vinnie Baker died on Nov. 01, 1944.
Any help appreciated.
