Jenny: probably no connections but, I have Urenus Carrothers Carroll, born in York Dist. SC, b.Mar. 5, 1859 d. Aug. 22, 1953, m. Etta Redd. His parents were according to 1860 census, Charles M. Carroll and Nancy. He had three brothers, Samuel B. ,John E. and Joseph H.
He and Etta had four children, James H. Carroll b. Aug. 5, 1890, William W. Carroll B. 1893?
Gertrude (possibly Marie Ethel) b. Apr. 19, 1895 and Urenus C. Carroll Jr. b. 1898 ?
All of the children were born and lived in RockHill, SC. James died in Charleston in 1950. William m. a Betty? and possibly moved to Penna. Gertrude died in Phila. Pa. around 1934 and U. C. Jr. may have died in Charleston, not sure of the date. Etta Redd's parents were possibly , J.C. Redd and Angeline Redd. Etta had a sister Ida in Greensville, SC. and there were also relatives in Aiken, SC but I don't have names of them. I am still researching my Carroll line . I know that U.C. senior and his wife Etta are buried in York county district cemetery in unmarked graves. There two many Carroll's in Rockhill not to find some connections.
