Family tradition has it that 5 Carroll brothers came from Maryland to Virginia to Scott Co. Kentucky. Dempsey, Enoch, Ned, John, and Squire. I believe Ed was nickname for Edmund. Enoch (1779-1815) was my ggg
grandfather and I am searching for his father. Some in the family believe it is Daniel (1730-1751) son of Demse James Carroll
(1710-1776) but I cannot prove that. I don't know if this information helps..advise if you have any information regarding Enoch.
