CARROLL/PARRIS/DILLENDER

I am looking for Josiah CARROLL (possibly an irish cop) who married Elizabeth (Hanks?)and had children while living in Mound City,Pulaski Co.IL. Some of their children were Elmira CARROLL, Mettie CARROLL, Jim CARROLL, Lottie CARROLL and Nettie CARROLL.

Their daughter and my great grandmother; Nettie CARROLL was born in 1882 in Mound City, IL and married Robert Houston PARRIS who was born in Providence, KY. They had four children to survive to adulthood. Those children were Farrel PARRIS, Carroll PARRIS, Viola PARRIS and my grandmother, Elizabeth Nola PARRIS born in 1905. Nettie CARROLL died in 1926 in Mound City, IL.

Robert Houston PARRIS's sister; Mae PARRIS married my great grandfather William Edward DILLENDER (born 1884 in Harrin,IL.) They had about 13 kids and I know of Edward, William, Osley, Evelyn, Mary, Jesse Ruth, Anabelle, James and Ruby.

Some of their children also lived in Evansville,Vanderburgh Co. IN. Their son and my grandfather, James DILLENDER was born in 1904. He married Elizabeth Nola PARRIS in Clarkesville, TN. They lived in Providence KY. They moved from Providence when my mother was small and James DILLENDER died in Evansville,IN in 1945.

My grandparents were second cousins so it should narrow my search down one limb but I am not having a lot of luck. Any information about these families past or present would be appreciated.
