You and I have replied to each other before, and it was thought we were not connected. However, your "Christine Carroll" is Cherokee, my "Mary Idella Carroll" is Indian. Mary Idella had a daughter "Christine" who may have been named after your "Christine". Now there is a further development. There is a picture of a "Sarah Carroll and Unknown" posted on the Campbell County, TN Geneology page. I noticed that the "Unknown" lady looked a lot like my gg grandmother "Mary Idella", so I e-mailed Karen who posted the picture, and sent her a picture of Mary Idella. She was astonished, and we both believe that my "Mary Idella" is indeed the one in the picture. Furthermore, her family has always said that her grandmother "Sarah" was Indian. So, now we possibly have 3 Carroll women, who are of Indian heritage, with ties to Campbell County, TN!!!! My "Mary Idella" was born in 1858, her "Sarah" was born in 1868, and if I'm not mistaken, your "Christine" is much older, and could quite possibly be the grandmother or great aunt of these 2 ladies!!!!
