Edward,

I am curious, if your mom's name is Emily (Carrion is her maiden name) and your dad is Ed. This may be a coincidence. I have an Aunt Emily who is married to an Ed Grimes. They originated from the San Franciso Bay area. Moved to the Los Angelos area about 25 years ago. My aunt's parents originated from Spain. Her maiden name is CARRION. I have noticed that most of the Carrion's, and Carreon's hail from Puerto Rico. I would find it interesting that you hyphenated your last name with your mother's maiden name if this is the case. I have also been trying to do some research of my own on the Carrions of Spain. I know that my Great Grandfather was a Santiago Carrion and he married Sophie Carrion sometime around 1906 - 1910. They had 10 children together. They met on the boat on the way over to the State, first stopping the Hawaii. Thanks
