Hi Mindy,

Unfortunately, those names do not sound familiar to me. It is so hard to trace back your family, especially when living in a different country. I have been told that the Carrion last name is French and Spanish, but now that my grandmother's are dead, it is very hard to get information about their relatives. It seems that family histories are not passed on to children and grandchildren, so now when one of those grandchildren want to find the origin of the last name and where the family comes from, that person finds him/herself lost.

Sorry that I could not be of any help. If it helps to know, my family comes from Loja, Ecuador. I new a few people with the Carrion and Espinoza last name there, and if your husband's family come from the same city, my dad or mom my be able to provide with information.
