My wife is a Carrillo. We live in Petaluma, California, 18 miles south of Santa Rosa. Both the Carrillo Rancho (Rancho Santa Rosa) and the Vallejo Rancho (home to General Mariano Vallejo and his wife, Benicia Carrillo) are located near by. Much is available here. I am also looking for information on a man surnamed Howe who moved to California in the 1800's and whose name has appeared in one of the Carrillo pedigrees appearing on the internet. Have you come across him in your research?
