The information that I have is from John Karriker's book, Carriker Karriker families.

George was the 3rd son (and child) of John Cariker and Frances Yarborough. John and Frances had a total of 12 children: Shepard, Joseph, George, Mary Polly, Jacob, Pinkney, Adelphia, Hilliard, John, Frances, Morgan Thomas, and Jefferson McDowell. (note: could Mary's maiden name have been McDowell? That name is not common in the Karcher lineage. Something to check on, anyway.)

John was born abt. 1785 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and died before 7/4/1864 in Pike County, Georgia.

John was the 2nd son (3rd child) of George Karcher and possibly Susanna Rape (or maybe Rabe?. George was born October 25, 1752 in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, and died October 06, 1836 in Heard County, Georgia. George had 9 children: George Jr., Susanna, John, Philip, Cathy, Daniel, Jacob, Rachel, and Henry.

George was the eldest child of Philip Karcher, Sr. and Catherina Eisenmann. George had 9 children (many of whom adopted different spellings of their last name): George, Maria Mottelina, Andrew, Anna Catherine, Catherina, Philip Jr., Henricus, Paul, and Maria. Philip was born in Germany, and died abt. 1806 in North Carolina. George and Maria married in 1751 in Pennsylvania.

I am sorry to say I cannot go forward from George Carriker at this point. Let me know if you want any information on his siblings or other relatives.
