So far, I've only gotten back to about 1870 with this branch of the family tree. My Great, Great, Grandfather was Maurice Carrigan who died in June 1945 and is buried at St. Marty's cemetery in Peoria next to his wife Mary (Mahoney). They had 8 children. One of whom was Thomas, my great grandfather born in 1894, died in 1966, buried in St Joseph's Cemetery in Peoria next to his wife, Elsie. They had 6 kids, including mt Grandfather Robert, born in 1923, died in '87, buried at St Joseph's. My Grandmother is still living. They had 7 kids including my mom, Elizabeth. Do you have anything that can tie our Carrigans together?
Also, the IL Sec of State maintians an on line database of Civil War veterans.Michael enlisted in the 77th IL Infantry and Patsy was in the 11th IL Cavalry.
