He and his wife Isabel Brown Carrigan landed in Newcastle, Pennsylvania (now Delaware) in 1753. They later moved to Hawfields, Orange, NC and then to Anson County, NC. The farm they lived on in what is now Cabarrus County stayed in the family until about 1952. I would love to trade information.
