Hi Seanne,

Thanks for the information, you may be talking about my Great Grandfather James Polk's father. The thought was that he was born in Tn or his father was. My JP was married to Mary Elizabeth( Betta) Miller . I have a picture of thier gravesite in Proctor tx. JP was b.1861 d.1921 . Until your info I had hit a stone wall on my JP. Was thier any mention of a brother Ed? This could be the middle name also of his brother.
Let me know on other info that you may have and I will do the same.
