Hi Jack-

james polk carrigan was born in tenn his father's name was allen t and his mother was obedience harris aka beda. they were married in oct 1851 in maury county. they moved to coryell county, texas sometime after 1860 census. i am still working on this part of problem. i am also tracking when the family moved from nc to tn still working on that one. i know the family came from iredell county nc and the family still lives on the original homestead of the late 1750's.
