Carrigan origins

OK, I give up. While I can tell that Carrigan must be of Irish derivation, I can't seem to find this name in any of my shelf references. So, here's a second query:

Is Carrigan a derivation of "Corrigan" or "Kerrigan" or both? Or neither? Can anyone give me any particulars regarding the Irish origins of Carrigan???
Regards,
