Philemon M.and Elizabeth Carrigan came from Ireland. They lived in Blount and McMinn Counties TN before moving to Washington Co. AR. around 1851. They had 2 sons, John and James. John married Minerva Jane Harris and John married Minerva Jane Hanna. Yes, they both married women named Minerva Jane. Philemon and his son James were both murdered by bushehackers during the Civil War Would like to exchange information on this family.
