Looking for any information linked to the following:

Jean Baptiste Carrier, b. April 28, 1781 in Ste-Famille, B, Quebec, Canada d. aft. Aft. 1858 in Ste-Julie, Quebec, Canada. He married Lizette Bonneau. I have no info on Lizette. Next generation was:
Louis Napoleon Carrieres b. October 24, 1829 in Varennes, Vercheres, Quebec, Canada d. May 14, 1900 in Holyoke, MA-USA. He married Thaise St. Germain Gauthier on November 03, 1858 in Ste-Famille, B., Quebec. She was b. abt. 1836 Canada (don't know where) d. March 01, 1906 in Holyoke, MA.
Next generation was:
Joseph Louis Napolean Carriere b. May 14, 1876 St. Hyacinthe, Provence of Quebec, Canada d. January 26, 1937 Holyoke, MA-USA. He married Exelia (went by: Lea) Marie Parent on June 22, 1915 at Sacred Heart Church, Northampton, Massachusetts. She was b. October 29, 1884 Williamsburg, Massachusetts d. May 19, 1952 in Holyoke, MA-USA. Next generation is my father:
Joseph Ernest Carriere, b. April 5, 1916.

This family (from photos I've seen) was very dark complected...dark eyes...small stature. Does anyone know if this is characteristic of Fr-Can's or could there be Native there?
